We just celebrated our grandson, Yonatan’s Bar Mitzvah! The photo below, taken in the town of Diszna in Belarus shows, circled, my father Boris (Dov) Greniman (later Green) as a child in his class in the local Jewish school. He was, as far as I know, the only surivivor of his class. The rest perished (i.e. were murdered) in the Holocaust. Yonatan’s second name is Dov, named after his great grandfather. Thank you, Nehama for the photo. The resemblance between Yonatan and my Dad is striking, as are the similarities of personality.
